PROJECT STORY

PROJECT CHARACTER

A new gateway to the city.

CONCEPT & DELIVERY

With P1 Headline, PEMA transformed a former postal site next to Innsbruck Central Station into a landmark mixed-use address. Completed in 2012, it brings together the ADLERS hotel, offices, the district court and retail. The project demonstrates site development and a carefully balanced mix of uses.

More about the project

PEMA developed P1 Headline on the former postal site beside Innsbruck Central Station. Henke Schreieck won the architectural competition concluded in 2010. The 49-metre tower and its base give Brunecker Strasse a distinctive identity. Completed in 2012, the development combines the aDLERS hotel, offices, the district court and shops. A restaurant, rooftop terrace and public spaces connect the building to city life. The space was leased before the structural shell was completed.
